Therese Pope is a freelance writer from the Land of the Governator (Sacramento, CA) She has a penchant for twisting her body into odd contortions (yoga), wine drinking, wine collecting, wine sipping, wine sampling (she likes her vino!), strong java and is a die hard foodie and wannabe chef and is oddly fascinated with all things Hello Kitty. Her past life includes working a sting as a non-profiteer, fundraising, special event planning and food and wine tasting events. She is single and looking but would never shamelessly plug her status of singledom (by the way, do you drink wine?).

I am lucky enough to live around some of the most fabulous wineries located in the foothills of northern California, and have recently discovered fabulous white wines that even die-hard red wine drinkers will enjoy (including myself!) My summer wine repertoire usually consists of Pinot Grigio...
