My name is Patricia Kelley
I actually started writing when I was about 7-years-old in my diary. And, then I progressed to poetry. Over the years, I have received recognition for my work. Writing for me is a passion, if I cannot write. I cannot breathe. And without God I would have no breath to breathe.
I am happily married to my soul mate.

I love to travel outside of the United States. We've been to the Virgin Islands, Costa Rica and the Bahamas. We were really impressed with the Christian influence in the Bahamas. Their saying there is God lives here. Our next trip will be to Israel. We love to travel, and I try to incorporate it into my writing.

I have always considered myself to be a great observer.
I think if you pay attention to your surroundings and the people around you, it flows.

I have written a book Madam Shakespeare's The Man with Rainbow Eyes which is also a playwright and is available at Barnes and Noble and Amazon.com/Target.com. I wrote this book in memory of an unknown poetess that I knew named Sorcha. She was from Australia, where the book takes life. I tried to apply it to a modern day Shakespeare, how he would see our modern world.

I am currently working on a Children's book.

I attended American Airlines Travel School and worked as a travel agent for many years. I later went to work for hospice, where I worked for (5) five years. After my experience with hospice I started studying alternative medicine and natural herbal remedies. I particularly got interested in natural skin care and started making my own soap and everyone else was wanting it too. I think that people were getting tired of all the unnatural chemicals and additives found in most name brand soaps.
When we travel, I always look for the local soapmakers to see what they are doing, and how I can improve or make a new product.

I enjoy soap making and sale it wholesale and retail. I also sale my soap at the State Fair and Home and Garden Shows.

My diet changed to mostly eating organic.
