My work as a Personal Life Coach and Writer has helped blend a introverted extroverted personality. Hidden as a writer and out there working with a client who needs and wants my help to move forward. Early on my love of the poets and their history were fascinating to me except they were only known after their demise. I do want to be validated for my work. I feel I am talented and have still so much more to learn, teach and experience.
As long as I can remember I have had a natural interest in the written word. I took Latin as an elective and can say it has helped me apply the rules of grammar and proper use of the English language. As a teen I wrote a kind of dark poetry, and prose. Most of my electives in college were creative writing which was a wonderful way to keep my first love, writing in the back ground as I continued education in Psychology and Medical Science.up until I became a mother.
During my career in Medicine I wrote many employment descriptions, wellness manuals, and when OSHA became very active in work place safety I wrote several manuals and posted escape routes for which many edits have taken place since. Many letters, memos, and new policy booklets were also my responsibility as a Medical Practice Manager.
As I matured it became a need to educate and write what I knew. This is true today. It is my feeling I could write on many subjects simply because I have been a rule follower but taken risks in my life that has shaped my writing thus far. My experiences good or bad always benefit a reader that is seeking the proverbial consequence ahead of the mistake. It has been my experience everyone is different and complex. It is a difficult to make a small article cover a very unique and personal experience when so much would be needed individually for a person to apply a certain knowledge.
A special area of my writing involves the area of mental illness and human suffering. It was a close education within my family. Also, at a young age I had lost my husband to suicide and my mother to colon cancer. My mother had just finished her Masters in Social work when the cancer was discovered. My mother also raised six children including one child with cerebral palsy. Imagine!
My work has been on Helium, Associated Content, and I have just recently started working for LivePerson.com as an expert at Career Coaching, as well as relationship resolve. Employment is changing and the financial education I have acquired has been by my own costly mistakes. Now, that debt is paid in full.
Although I do not hold a degree I have worked towards my interests and intellect at various Universities and Community Colleges. My interests in the financial devastation of the economy and how it happened or more importantly what we can do to sustain ourselves through the storm has encouraged my writing of both education as well as question, answer and what I know from experience.
My goal now is to grow as a writer in many areas. As a business owner, mother and household manager along with a long history in medical practice management I owe it to my teachers to continue my education.
Now, at age fifty with an empty nest and my family in West Virginia I have been asking myself "is that all there is?" That is not all there is and I intend to bring about awareness and study to prove the fifties for both sexes can be some of our best years if we take care of ourselves. A quick reflection and onto to the things I put aside to raise a responsible young man.
Life and Writing for me carries many lessons and I am always open for suggestion and direction. I need the second half of my life (if I am so lucky) to really count.

It has been my experience that poor management can have dramatic effect on your team. Management for me was an acquired education. Applications of education prepare for the administration of a position however dealing with people is different with each position. Many managers when intervewing discount the effect of the new team member and the chemistry of the group prior to hire. As a manager it is your responsibility to create a well oiled machine that runs well while you are attending to higher responsibilities like client satisfaction and business retention as well as statistics and oth...
