: About Me

I love the Adirondacks; walking the fire trails, jogging along trails with my freckled face dog and sitting on a mountainside just inhaling that clean mountain air.

I prefer being outdoors than in, even if it's a blustery cold day with a wind so harsh that it takes one's breath away.

I live in upstate NY but travel to a lot of different states.

I became a NY state firefighter 10 yrs. ago. When I first joined the department, I was really nervous, but the other members made me feel at home. With their help and going to firefighting school, I learned that there's basically, nothing I can't accomplish.I also feel that more people should get involved with their communities.

I'm a romantic at heart and at times I tend to wear my feelings on my "sleeve."

I love animals as you can see from the above paragraph.My dog is one of the joys in my life. She makes the days pass with laughter and love. She's a mixed breed and even is she were a blue blood, I wouldn't love her any less. I actually inherited her from a lady that passed away.

I also have a passion for horses. I've been riding since I was four years old and haven't stopped yet. Started taking polo lessons five years ago, great sport. Been a few bumps and painful bruises along the way, on the horse and off,but I WON'T give them up.

I love to read, can't seem to get enough of it, right now, when I'm not online, I'm reading a book called "An Infinity Of Little Hours".It's about the Western World's Most Austere Monastic Order. At times I can't put it down.

I also like tattoos. I know a lot of people frown upon them, it's really each to their own. Mine symbolize different things in my life that I love and cherish. A few of my friends don't even realize I have tattoos. They start talking about their tattoos and I say, really? I've got this really neat looking one. They go "what!" you don't have a tattoo, yes, I do, They are usually astonished.

The thing about him, is that he has no idea just how much of an impact he has on others or of on me. He stands tall, not just, in posture and pride but in height. He is 6'2".
