About me - Ashley Benlove

About me

I am a 20 year old college student who enjoys writing and photography. I'm a Psychology major. I am eccentric, passionate, confident, friendly, and thoughtful. My favorite tv shows are Kim Possible, The Golden Girls, South Park, Scrubs. My favorite movies include The Lion King, the Star Wars films, Jurassic Park, the Pirates of the Caribbean films. I'm also a big Harry Potter fan. I love to learn. I think the meaning of life is humor, chocolate, sex, and education. I am proud to call myself a geek, nerd, and dork, because I am and I love it.

I absolutely love to write. Usually about anything. I've been writing for fun since I was a teenager, and writing feeds my soul in a way that satisfies my whole being. I think that is reflected in my writing somehow.

One of my beliefs is that if you don't want to talk about or joke about everything, then you shouldn't talk or joke about anything at all. As Kyle Broflovski said in a South Park episode (perfect example!), "Either it's all okay or none of it is." And that's how I try to write.

South Park has been running for a full ten years, and has 11 seasons and 167 episodes, as of November 30th, 2007. I'm a huge fan of the show. I have been watching the series since the late 1990s, at least since 1998 and 1999. I believe that over 167 episodes, this show has gotten better with age.

It's controversial, it's often in the news, it gets people riled up, and it's about four young boys under the age of ten. And even beyond that, it's a great show, with emotional content, that makes you laugh your butt off, and has won Emmys. Not only that, it's still on the air after many years!...
