Thinking is a very good thing. When I write about things I am interested in, I find out a lot about myself. What could be better than that?
I suspect that our minds, unlike our cars, stay newer when we use them.
I am a retired educator with and interest in books, travel, education and writing. I love to write fiction but also have found that I have an opinion! If you don't believe it just ask me.
While teaching I wrote curriculum and pilots computer programs from the elementary grades. I retired when my husband retired even though I was only 55 years old. I did not ever work full time but did see and experience a lot of different teaching situations.
I have traveled a great deal in the last ten years. My husband and I have spent a total of 6 weeks in Spain and were there when the war in Iraq erupted. We have spent another 6 in China with in the last 2 years. I have family living in China so I have gotten an insiders look at that country. A vacation in Thailand was one of our favorites and we were in the country on an island but not near the tsunami when it hit Phuket. Our travels have taken us to the Philippines as well as Hong Kong and Mexico. RV travel has been something we have enjoyed for more than ten year and we winter in the southwest United States.
I am the writer in this house and share it with a golfing husband and a cat named RV.

I have learned to read upside down, write backwards, not faint at the sight of blood. My grandson explained the "pee hole" in his underwear and my granddaughter begins every argument is "I was just saying". Very important information you will have to admit. In the real world of teaching and writing I have learned more than I can ever pass on to anyone. The best lessons of all were ones learned by accident and were total su...
