I have been writing for about 18 years. I began writing children's stories and poetry. My first children's story was published in Canada. I have a number of poems that have been published since the mid 80's.
Currently, I am working on a piece about Alzheimer's disease with which my late Father suffered. And I have a couple of children's picture books which I hope to get published. Hopefully with my own illustrations.
I love working at my computer with my one of my cats lying in my desk drawer beside me, or standing in front of my monitor begging for attention.
My passion is ...
Animal rights and the environment, art, literature and music
I know too much about ...
Natural healing and herbs. Mostly from my own experience and those of people that I know. I enjoy researching uses for herbs and flower extracts. Having severe drug allergies has given me the opportunity to learn about alternative medicine and natural healing.
My parents always told me ...
To be my own person
My childhood ambition ...
To get a book published soon
My favorite memory ...
My Grandmother and I watching "Captain Kangaroo" together
Why I write ...
Everyone has something of great value to say. When I find something new and valuable I like to share it. Writing gives me this opportunity.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
I am reading "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho and listening to "Enya"
My inspiration ...
Animals and Nature
