Staci 'PurPose' Yarbrough
A 33 year old mother of two and proud
Cleveland native, has embraced a journey of
touching the lives of women through uplifting
words of empowerment! From an early age,
she had a talent for transforming her feelings
and emotions into written expression.
However, due to her youth and circumstances
beyond her control her writing had been
placed on an involuntary hiatus! God had
plans for her though!
In 2004 she realized the power of friendships
and networking amongst african-american
women. This was an interesting calling for
her as she had never really been close to any
women, outside of the loving relationship she
had with her mom. Determined to listen to
God, she started a small book club with
friends and co-workers. These women would
meet to discuss books and life...meanwhile
growing and cultivating just the type of
relationships that PurPose had envisioned! So
from this, Girlfriendz Inc. was formed. A
diverse group of women from all ages,
educational backgrounds and stages in
life~~working together to keep
communication and networking alive woman
to woman. Their famous Annual Girlfriendz
Brunch is a 'must attend' for women in the
Cleveland area. Recently, along with a couple
of her GFI sisters, PurPose has begun the
online chapter of GFI!
