The Princess Bride was one of my favorite movies growing up. Just 5 years old when it was released, I thought it was a fantastic story about a young girl, a commoner, who was to become a princess and queen. As I grew older and continued to watch it, I realized how much of the film's satire and humor had flown over my head as a child. I began to recognize some of the actors through other work they had done; Billy Crystal, Cary Elwes, Mandy Patinkin, and Christopher Guest to name a few.
