About me

HI EVERYBODY

I am a 66 year old father of three and grandfather of three. My youngest granddaughter has Spina Bifida so we have become quite involved with the Spina Bifida Association Activities. She is doing quite well and we have so much to be thankful for. You ought to see her go in her wheelchair. She is the center of attention at al mall or someplace like that.

I WAS a heavy equipment operator that retired January 1st 2008.. but thanks to our brilliant crew in Washington and our lying president i I have had to go back to work. Unfortunately this last year with the economy, there hasn'tbeen a lot of that sort going on. We originally planned to move back down South and raise a big garden and lots of fruit. Now it looks like we are going to stay close to the grandkids. Just can't leave the little darlings. I love to cook and try new recipes and add things I like to change them. Two of my very favorite foods are rhubarb and jalapenos. I use them in a lot of my recipes.

I am a fifth generation Mason and a Shriner and I hope to get into a Southern Gospel Quartet once I retire. My wife and I have been married almost 42 years.

I am a diabetic with type II diabetes which so far I am able to control with diet and exercise and oral medication. My two dogs help me with my motivation to walk everyday.

I just recently had a big tumor removed from my bladder that was caused from smoking cigarettes. I am lucky in the fact that my cancer was non-invasive. So if you smoke, QUIT, you may not be so lucky.

1 of 1

This is another of the new "Gourmet" hamburger places that are showing up all over the country. I think people are getting tired of the greasy old Big Mac and Whopper. Places like the Counter are a little more expensive but oh so much better and a lot healthier too. Their beef is 100% natural, never frozen, freshly ground Angus beef. It is Certified Humane Raised and Handled, Hormone an Antibiotic free. They use artisan baked buns. locally sourced produce, the finest imported and domestic cheeses, hand crafted beers, and hand scooped and spun milk shakes.Check out their website at the count...
