About me

Hi, my name is John Palmer and I'm from East Yorkshire in England. I think that I'll be mainly writing in the "Creative Writing" section, but I will, of course, be venturing into sports, relationships and society, to mention but a few. I play county rugby, and I box at my local gym. I'm awaiting my GCSE results at the moment!

Does the crying eye subside, And close and turn and drop begone, With discontent and brokenness At love's last perfect loss? Does the tear drop from the lash; Fall meekly to her powdered cheek; Train past the lips and dries to crust: A summer full of joy. The pupil narrow frightenedly And colour abandons face and eye Of love's remaining half-shared soul; The heart is split, the body's whole; The crying eye blinks up, and sighs - Plastic shine, he leaves.
