Hi,
My name is Rebecca or (Becky by my friends) I am a 55 year old mother of two children, and two grandchildren.
I have worked in a local paper mill for the past 37 years.
But my passion since childhood has been to write. I often write inspirational, Christian fiction stories, or stories about animals or wild life. About 3 years ago I started a book about my son's life. I hope to have this published some day.
I've attended writer's conferences where I was able to take classes from some very good writer's. I also wanted to learn all legal aspects of being a writer. Also I have met, and gotten to know some very fine people in this line of work.
Aside from writing, one of my favorite subjects is organic living. I also study natural healing, and learned that there are many ways to improve ones health, and keep an environmentally clean home.
Basically I am just a country girl at heart who loves life, and feels as though we are never to old to write, and we certainly are never to old to learn!

The rewards of owning a pet are many. Numerous surveys have been done concerning pets. For instance people who have had heart attacks are more apt to be alive one year later if they are a pet owner. People who have a pet to come home to will recover faster when they are in the hospital. Doctors, and veterinarians are discovering the value of pet ownership concerning healing. Many dogs are now trained to be service dogs, and this makes a huge difference in a persons life who has some type of medical disorder.
