: About Me

Hello world! My name is Deb, I live on the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia and have a dream to become a writer. In fact I started writing my novel 2 years ago and while I feel the story bursting within, I am fighting to convey the thoughts on paper. The story is not new however I have not seen or heard of another similar. The vision I hold is more a movie than a book and perhaps that's where my difficulty is.  

I love to read and investigate life and the meaning of it all. I love mysteries and ancient History. I am currently studying online, with Macquarie University for a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Philosophy!

I have four children and four grandchildren and simply adore them all. Even at my age, I am still learning about life and I guess I will for the rest of it. My interest lies in creating a better world for my family and friends, and to help them become a part of the wonder around them. I believe in a higher power though I'm not sure what that is, and refuse to guess like most do. I receive inspiration from many sources, and I am most grateful to those who have opened their mind, and challenged the 'norm'.

Read books like  'Conversations with God' by Neale Donald Walsch and the 'Power of Now' by Eckhart Tolle and challenge what you see hear and feel. Awaken the power within and see the world in a new way.

Listen to the song of nature, see the wonder that surrounds you, breath deeply the aroma of your being, touch someone's heart and taste life!
