: About Me

I have been a writer for many years. I use writing as an outlet for my creative side, to journal my inner-most thoughts, and more recently to educate and inform others.

I have written three journals (unpublished) about my famiy's ancestry (dating back to the 1500's on both maternal and paternal sides) as my legacy to my grandchildren; and as a gift to my many relatives. Genealogy is my passion and obsession.

I also write a lot within the context of my profession in child support enforcement. My written works in this area are technical in form consisting of policies, procedures and legal topics.

Although I have always enjoyed writing, and have had some articles published, I have never had the time to pursue writing for broader publication until now. I have a book nearly completed and intend to have it published soon.

I have three adult children and three beautiful granddaughters. I draw great inspiration and strength from my family and friends; try to live each day with gratitude; and always try to give back more than I receive.
