I write because I think it is important to share our personal truth. I went to dancing school to take ballet, tap and jazz dance several times a week. My love of dance sheltered me from the more typical teenage blues and I was distracted with classical music, technical expertise, fun, and colorful costumes...rehearsal schedules and being in shape physically. I went back to college as an adult and single mom, after a divorce, and got a degree in Art. From there I began taking mail order classes with the Gemological Institute of America, then in Santa Monica and now in Carlsbad, CA.
My "real" jobs were generally retail, and more often than not in Fine Jewelry. I have produced radio and television shows for local cable networks and at one time an affiliate for National Public Radio, KHSU. These experiences along with a lifelong attraction to religions, I have settled on Catholicism. I am moved by my relationship with Mary, and felt a pull from her to study. I ultimately took six months in Menlo Park, CA to become confirmed.
