Hello!
My primary interests revolve around Dance, Fine Jewelry, and the Broadcast, Visual, & Performing Arts. I am developing a website and taking courses on-line at the The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Http://www.pegalomania.biz. My first book I wrote to share my legwarmer designs. I called it "Peg's Legs Hand-Knit Dancewear" and have had several excellent reviews. I still knit custom order pieces, one-of-a-kind knits. My slogan is "Knit By Hand To Fit Like A Glove",...like it? My psuedonymn is Pegalomania because I was working for Madam Sarah Caldwell with the Opera Company of Boston, and she was criticized in the NY Times for being a "megalomaniac". I decided that if that was good enough for Sarah, it was good enough for me, and coined the name Pegalomania for my artistic pursuits. I have traveled extensively selling Antique & Estate Jewelry and have a presentation available if anyone needs a Speaker.
I write for pleasure and personal expression.
My academic background includes a degree from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. I wrote a Special Major and titled it "Art As Communication". I lost my youth to the Ballet studio, having studied seriously in Montreal, New York, and Boston. I am a lifelong learner and love taking some class somewhere. I have studied gemstones at the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, Diamond Grading, Pearl Grading, Colored Stones, and Gem I.D. I have one daughter who is an adult.
I have written a script that includes some original music and would be interested in a serious musician who could score the show and mix it with classical ballet scores and 70's pop. A sense of humor is an absolute must!

Hey You! I'm talking back at ya! To me, sitting on the fence is like getting hit by a freight train, just a little bit. There are ramifications for thinking and doing nothing. Omission is a sin as much as comission. Omission is when we keep to ourselves part of the truth. But I recognize these are words from the Catholic faith and may repel you like water, not the holy kind either.
We are surrounded by meaninglessness. Our most sacred and intimate selves are paraded and mocked across the stage of every television set. There are theories that the media, intentionally, is attempting to rep...
