I'm a writer (strictly amateur so far) living in the north of England, trying to stick my foot in the doors of travel-writing, script-writing and short fiction.
I like to think of myself as a wry soul, but know that people who do so usually actually aren't. This keeps me up some nights.
My interests? Um. There's a word limit on this AboutMe page, yeah? Well then. I'm a child-minded enthusiast: I'm foolishly fascinated by everything

.....to eat my greens, or my hair would fall out. I ate them, and my hair fell out. That's parents for you.

My childhood ambition ...

.....was to be an adult. Result.

My favorite memory ...

.....trying to swim in Cyprus but not going far because I had flipflops on, and couldn't kick properly.

Why I write ...

.....because I've got too many words inside me from over-reading.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

.....The Wizard, by Gene Wolfe (reading). It's fabulous.

....making cup handles on a huge, thumping, whirring clay machine.
