Hello, fellow members. John Shaggy, writer & poet here.
I've been writing for a little while now and stumbled upon Helium completely by accident. I must say I'm impressed.
I believe the greatest asset a writer can possess is the ability to be clear & concise about the articles they write. Good writing will always rise to the top, while mediocre writing is, well, it is what it is. Mediocre.
I make it a point to tell it like it is in the best way I know how, irregardless of the consequences. There has never been anything wrong with a little controversy. As a matter of opinion, I'd find life rather dull and mundane without it.
On the personal aspects of John Shaggy, I'm married to the greatest woman on the planet and the father of three.
Two stepchildren and a daughter from a previous relationship.
Be passionate about what you do and everything else will fall into place. Glad to be here at Helium.

When we plant either a vegetable or flower garden, we have a specific result in mind. We want what we plant to grow, otherwise, why expend the time and effort necessary to achieve the desired goal. The conditions of whether a particular plant species grows or not may depend on the pH, (or alkalinity or acidity) of the soil they are put down in. Soil pH calculates on a scale from zero to fourteen, with zero being acidic, seven neutral, and fourteen alkaline. Acidic soil in defined as having a pH less than 6.5 and alkaline soils typically have pH above 7.4, (www.en.mimi.hu&...
