I am a single father born in 1957. I have a fantastic daughter with whom I have a great relationship. I have had a wide range of experiences during my life which has included being an automotive machinist building race engines, worked in the woods piling logs, fisherman for a summer off the coast of Cape Breton Nova Scotia, automotive mechanic, "Lead Hand" (in charge of, not the heavy metal :-)) of Engineering for a small shipyard, tech inspector for a local stock car track, ran as a candidate in a provincial election, worked in a call centre and now run a small business making and selling detail parts for automotive scale models.

I love building car models, boating, gardening, motorcycling and just plain tinkering with things. I am currently renovating two homes, one of which is over 120 years old. I love history and just completed three weeks in Britain and Scotland where the architecture and history are amazing. I saw a well in Scotland that was 500 years old and still usable.

The cars over there are quite amazing as well. I saw a dozen or so Aston-Martin DB9s, Bentleys, Porches galore, Mercedes everywhere, TVR, half a dozen or so Lambos, a few Ferraris, etc.
