: About Me

I am married to a wonderful woman named Carmella who is the heart beat of my life. I have worked labor jobs all my life, but have always been a thinker. I still remember my high school teacher reprimanding me for telling him that people who suffer from heart attacks should not quit working and should not quit exercising, which was what doctors told heart attack patients in that era. My contention was that the heart was a muscle and therefore should be exercised and not rested in order to strengthen it. Well, it wasn't many years after I graduated that the treatment changed, and now it is common to establish an exercise routine for heart attack patients.

I enjoy Gourd art and electronics. I own three pertinent web sites, one is The Gourd Reserve and the other is an electronics site where I list tech stuff that is on sale, and last but not least is my ministry site Dano's Place.

I never did any art work until a few years ago, just a couple years before suffering a back injury that put me flat on my back for 3 years and ended up forcing us into a medical bankruptcy. Since then we have been self employed and the internet is our primary source of income. It doesn't make us rich, but I have 3 children at home, one of which is handicapped and requires 24/7 oversight. I've never laid down and given up, and will fight to remain independant and NOT dependant on this government!

While Holographic disks may become a thing of the future, today they are limited in their development as a write once -read many type drives.
