I grew up in Philadelphia, PA and I currently live in South Jersey. I received a BA degree in English/Film from the University of Delaware, I work as a Proofreader/Internal Auditor/Trainer for a company located in Marlton, NJ. I am also a certified professional proofreader/editor and have been dabbling in freelance work aside from working full-time. Writing and being creative is my passion.

When I hear the word "sport" I immediately think of an athletic activity. Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary defines the word "athlete" as "a person who is trained or skilled in exercises, sports, or games requiring physical strength, agility, or stamina." Any activity that requires "physical strength, agility, or stamina" can be categorized as a sport. Obviously physical activity is a requirement for a sport to be a sport.
