Let me start by saying that I am very fortunate and thankful not to be a single parent. I am very lucky to have help from my husband. Unfortunately, not everyone has someone to share in the child-raising responsibilities. Single parents do not have the luxury of relying on someone to provide income, be the homemaker, or to assist in responsibly raising their child.
