Living in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England but spend all day dreaming of being in the flat my partner and I own in Maribor, Slovenia. Located in the heart of Europe, Slovenia is the perfect base for exploring central and eastern Europe.
So far this year I have visited Slovenia, Austria and Germany and Have a trip to Gothenburg planned for November.

Bled is a small town in north west Slovenia with a population of around 6000. It lies close to the edge of the Julian Alps and it is the most popular tourist destination in the country, mainly because of it's beautiful, picturesque lake, but in general for the wealth of outdoor pursuits on offer in the area.
