Two years ago, I wouldn't have written this piece. Today, I have no choice, for I must get this off my chest. I would like to say "thank you" to the networks who now broadcast football and pregame/postgame/highlight/special interest shows year-round. They have now given it the sameness to which baseball sank ten or fifteen years ago...when you could first channel surf and find five or six baseball games on around the dial.
