I am a sophomore in college, majoring in Journalism. Between High school and college, I spent 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corps.

I started writing when i was in elementary school, albeit short stories, and continued to keep writing while in the Corps.

My primary interest is in Fantasy/ Science Fiction, (light on the fantasy, heavier on the Sci-Fi) but enjoy reading and writing just about anything.

I don't want to wake up today. My alarm clock blares an oldies tune; the sleeping beast is roused from his sleep. My miniature Dachshund is defiantly a morning dog. Against my will, my aching muscles pull my body out of bed and I search for his leash. Tail waging, cold nose pressed against my leg like a tiny spear, pushing me forward out the door. His little brown eyes look up at me with complete surrender, he cant open the door, take himself for a walk or pick up his own mess. He is at my mercy, without me he cannot function.
