Surrounding the pot belly stove are a small crowd of locals sitting on benches and rocking chairs, sipping coffee and talking about a topic common to High Country residents, the upcoming snow storm. Surrounding the locals at the stove, visitors, some from far away states, some from just a few counties over, mill around the vast mercantile. Cameras in hand and wide eyes trying to take it all in.
