Getting married was one of the easiest things I've ever done that required a license. When I wanted to drive, I had to take an eight week driver's education course and pass a driver's test. When I wanted to sell real estate, I had to take a four week course and and pass a state board exam. Strangely, when I wanted to get married, all I had to do is complete an application for a license and pay a fee. No classes and no testing required for the biggest step I'd ever take in my life.
