I would like to pose a question to those who blame schools for low high school graduation rates. Who are the schools? We, the parents, are the schools therefore we are to blame when our kids don't graduate. Schools are merely a reflection of the people who make up the communities in which they exist. Schools with higher graduation rates have a common theme of parent participation. Low parent participation equals low student graduation.
