It was school outing day for my kids. As we took our seats on the bus, I noticed a woman sitting with a young adult close to us. Both seemed happy in each other's company. Occasionally, I would see the older woman raise her hand to the face of the younger one, affection was in that touch. As they laughed, they threw their heads backward in unison. It was such a pleasure to watch them both as the enjoyed each other's company.

I ventured to ask them if they were friends going on the trip. With a look of surprise they both burst out laughing. "No-oo" replied the older woman, "she is my daug...
