I am a dreamer. I am a thinker. (Sometimes this is a liability as I trip over things and am forgetful in the fantasy world I live in).
Writing allows me to unravel and make sense of my musings. And since our experiences are universal, I like to share my thoughts with others, to receive feedback and to gain new perspectives.
I have not actively pursued my love for writing, except in poetry where I have been published in South Africa and Internationally. Helium has been a fantastic opportunity to find out which of my writings are well received and those that aren't. I am equally proud of the articles I have written that are lower ranked than those that are highly ranked. It means that I am finally able to put myself "out there" and be open to critique, and improving my writing.
I am self employed and in my job my fantasies are tempered. I enjoy my work and everyday I am stretched to achieve something new and go beyond my self perceived limitations.
Thank you for reading.
Peace! :-)
