Born & raised in Denver, Colorado, I'm back here in my hometown after thirty years in Seattle, with brief stays in Fairbanks, Oakland, Phoenix, Spokane and Bremerton, Washington.
I'm an artist, writer, musician, and photographer - and generally try not to make money at any of those endeavors...but there's always a first time!
I am single, older than dirt, hetero, politically independent, and feisty.
Honesty and ethics are huge with me, for myself and anybody I deal with.
My "guilty" secret: I have NEVER used "spell check". So sue me!
Update: since joining the Helium.com community, I've been using "spell-check". Have your Attorney's kitty-cat do lunch with my Attorney's 200-pound parakeet!
Update July 12, 2007: thanks to Helium.com writer Lee Gee, I have now adopted Newcastle United as my one and only pro sports team, to whom I pledge my undying allegiance and unqualified support, even though I'm not a pro sports fan and actually live in the city of Denver, Colorado, United States of formerly colonial America. Write on, Lee Gee! Long Live The Queen!
You may may take exception with, or support, me at wordwidebob@yahoo.com
Go Newcastle United!

Political campaigns for elected office should have spending limits in order to level the playing field for all candidates and all voters. Contribution limits have been in place for some time now, but unqualified candidates continue to win elections for the sole reason that their ideological allies have been able to funnel money into Political Action Committees, (PACs). Spending is the other side of the contribution coin, and spending limits that prohibited partisan faithful from erecting phony facades of "separation" from the election campaign itself would go a long way toward restoring th...
