We as mothers are trained that it is our job to put everybody Else's needs in front of our own needs. From the beginning of time, mothers are made to feel like they are the ones that constantly sacrifice and compromise to make everybody else happy. And if they do not, then the whole world will come crashing down, and they will be labeled as a "bad mommy"- the worst fate ever- and all the "good mommys" will shun them and look their noses down on them. A mother is supposed to jump when called for, tend every need, ease every pain, silence every cry, and run, constantly from sun up to sundown...
