Going to church has and will always be important. The problem I think most people run into is that they try one type of church and figure that the problems and issues they experienced in that church or with that congregation is how all christians conduct themselves. I have been to several churches that teach hate of one type of person or another. My advise to you is to keep looking. As I have moved around the country several times I have had to find a home church many times. I will tell you that there are churched out there that teach love and compassion.
