Then An Angel Sang Four years of choir didn't help my voice Projecting sour notes was not by choice Seeing so much beauty and wanting to paint Not being artistic was the complaint Searching for my talent to no avail Avoiding obstacles in my trail Finding the gap from within and without Praying to God with a tremendous shout Free at last to sing my song Singing on paper my notes are strong
