I was called an obnoxious child by my 8th grade English
teacher. I honor of my restless spirit in class she gave
the entire class a writing assignment; keeping a personal
journal. She wanted to see what I could come up with.
Needless to say, it was difficult to tame my imagination.
I wrote some "interesting things." She saw my raw talent and encouraged me to write. So, I write. I'm a chef with
a curiosity that won't quit. It keeps me up at night. I
like being abe to pick a subject and research it to learn
more about it. Sponge, that's me.

Mini Red Velvet Cupcakes with Hot Pink Frosting I made these for a Valentines Day party initially. They were such a big hit that I had a request to make them again, and again. I think what makes these little gems so irresistable is the hot pink frosting piped on top. To achieve the color, I used red cake decorating icing in the cream cheese frosting.
