My Name is Linda
I just turned 50, I was born and raised in San Francisco Ca. I am a Taurus I love luxury and beauty of all forms in my life. I've raised 4 beautiful children and cherished every moment being a mother. My children's ages are: Son 28 who is a return Iraq war veteran out of the Marine Corp. And I have 3 beautiful daughters, ages 26,20,16 who have been my best buddies.
I'm married to a handsome British Knight 18 years my younger who I met on line by accident, we have been happily married for 8 years now and still going strong and the best thing about our relationship beside being madly in love with a very handsome younger man, is not a day goes by that we don't have a good laugh!
I consider myself a great cook, one who loves to be creative in different ways with food and experiment with varieties. I love to cook different cuisine's from around the world and mastered Mexican cooking, I make home made tamales and my own tortillas. I also enjoy simple down home cooking and baking fresh breads.
I am currently writing two books, one is a compilation of stories and letters about my sons career in the Marines along with letters he wrote and letters he received from me, all the while he was in boot camp to him actually going over to Iraq too war, and all that happened to him before he left and when he came back home.
The second is a story about the struggles I went through when my oldest daughter told me she was gay, geared as a learning manual for parents going through the same. Along with my whole story from beginning to end and how I coped with it and resolved it.
I have many experiences, life has taught me wonderful lessons and nothing has been a waste thus far because I have been able to gleam something good from all the stumbles and trials I have been through.
I truly enjoy people from all walks of life, and love to write about things that have opened my eyes about life and living, the beauty and ugly all around.
I am very much into music and love all kinds. I have a particular love for Reggae and international music such as Latin, French Chanson and Cubano sounds. I love jazz, rock and just about any type you can name, I could probably find some song I like.
I love sewing, I'm an accomplished seamstress along with having an education in interior design. I have worked professionally as a decor specialist in interior window treatment design. I am also am a professional makeup artist and hair stylist by trade and have owned my own salon.
Among other interest of mine I have studied and used to teach classes on family preparedness and survival I enjoyed learning all that knowledge and teaching it to others.
Out of all my knowledge and background I cherish being a homemaker above all the rest, my home is my haven and I love being a woman!

This was one of the toughest choices I had to make.
With 4 children and one just barely a year old, I was at the top of my career working as a manager of a wholesale outlet that was growing by leaps and bounds spreading across the USA opening new warehouses all the time.
