: About Me

Writing has shaped me and molded me into the person that I am today. Reading has also had a large inpact in my life. I never liked reading until I picked up a romance novel, and I was hooked. I read constantly, and wrote even more. It is my passion, my life. My other passion is history, mostly ancient. Mythologies of all types, and learning people's views on every subject known to man. After all, writing is about culture, past, present, future. To write well, you must go beyond who you are, and see in other's eyes. At least that is how it is for me.

About me 101 : 

*My name is Angelea Beatrice Sakai Woodham

*Many know me as Midieval Fantasy

*I am 23 years old and live in Jacksonville Florida.

*I am married with two wonderful children

*My children’s names are Noelani (3) and Robert (1)

*I am Goth (if you have questions ask. Please do not believe the stereotype. Those presumptions get annoying.)

*I am a spiritual person (Not religious really. If I choose a religion it would, however, be Wicca – of which I am currently studying, though i do have many poems focused on the christian belief system, and no, not in a bad way.)

*I love history (anything before 1900) especially medieval history. My favorite ( and just about the only) historical event after 1900, other than Titanic, is the Great Dust Bowl of the 1930s

*I love all things paranormal and a bit morbid.

*My favorite movies/ tv shows are : Repo The Genetic Opera, Addams Family, The Crow, Dracula, The Underworld Triology. Interview with a Vampire, Corpse Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Sissorhands, etc... (pretty much any dark movie). I also all any and all disaster movies (Deep impact, Day after Tomorrow, Volcano, Impact, etc). I like a lot of comedy (knocked Up, Asrenic and Old Lace, Lilies of the Field, etc...) and some action (Avatar, Death Race, Riddick, etc...), and Horror (Saw movies, Freddy Vs. Jason, etc....) I also like disney movies. Tv shows are : House, NCIS, Law And Order SVU, Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International, The Haunted, A Haunting, Ghost Lab, etc.... anything on the history channel.

*I listen to Goth music I also listen to rock, folk, metal, punk and ALL forms of each. I do not like pop and things such as that.

*My favorite bands are : Inkubus Sukkubus, Bauhaus, Sisters Of Mercy, Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation, Theatre Of Tragedy, Nightwish, Kamelot, The 69 Eyes, Type O Negative, The Cure, Blackmore's Night, My Chemical Romance, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Thee Days Grace, Staind, Disturbed, Five Fnger Death Punch, Godsmack, Gothminister, His Infernal Majesty (HIM), Assemblage 23, Oingo Bingo, Sum 41, VNV Nation, and 45 Gave. I also like classical music, Celtic, ad New Age Instrumental. My favorite of that genre is Bruce DeBoer.

*I have a pure white dog Hestia (Greek Goddess of Hearth and Home) and a pure black cat named Nyx (Greek Protogenos Goddess of the Night). I had a cat Loki (Norse God of mischief,) and a dog named Thor (Norse God of Thunder) but both have passed away.

*My favorite poets are Edgar Allan Poe, Lord Alfred Tennyson, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Lord Bryon, William Wordsworth, Walt Witman, etc...

*I write poetry and Historical Romance Novels in my spare time with the hopes of being published one day.

*My favorite series is Wings in the Night by Maggie Shayne. My favorite romance author is Lisa Kleypas, and they only other writer outside of romance that I read is Dean Koontz (False Memory is my favorite by him).

*I love quotes. I mean i really have an Obession with Quotes.

*I recently learned I have an INTJ personality type.

My passion is ...

Writing, Reading, Learning, Being with those I love, the Gothic subculture and all the surrounds it. In short, my passion is everything tha makes me who i am.

I know too much about ...

I could never know to much about anything. Learning is my downfall which i shall never overcome.

My parents always told me ...

to hae a career to fall bak on, which is why i am in school for Pyschology.

My childhood ambition ...

To get married, have children, and become a published author.

My favorite memory ...

if I could reduce my favorite memories into one, than my life would never have achieve the greatness that it has achieved so far.

Why I write ...

Writing is my fortess. I can escape the realities of this world, and go into a world that I can control, a world I understand better than my own. I can be without having to be. I am free when I write. Completely and utterly. No one understands me as my characters do. I understand no one as well as the people I create. I am whole there, not broken or useless. It is my cure, and my sickness. I would only ever be half alive without a keyboard beneath my fingertips.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I read romance novels more often than i watch t.v. I do stray from the romance gene from time to time, however, but usually only for Dean Koontz. My favorite writers are Lisa Kleypas, Katherine Kingsley, Cathy Maxwell, Maggie Shayne, Lisa Cach, Johanna Lindsay, Rebecca Brandewyne, Christina Dood, Madeline Hunter, etc, etc... and so on and so forth. I really have to many to count, as all are perfect in their own way.

My first job ...

I worked as a hostess at Cross Creek. I worked there for two years Hostessing, Serving and Alley Cordinating, until I became pregnant. As it turns out, My morning sickness made it impossible to be around food.

My best moment ...

To pick one out of millions is unfair. Moments and memories are like books. Each one is different and special in its own way. To judge one against another should be a crime.

My inspiration ...

Everything.
