I am a retired scientist and engineer who followed an industrial career with seven years teaching high school science and math. For years I wrote technical reports and technical articles. Of course I still write some non-fiction, but lately I have been writing fiction for entertainment, both mine and the reader's entertainment.
My wife and I live on the high desert of New Mexico where we enjoy gardening and hiking. I also run for health and enjoyment.
Our two children have left home, but we have two dogs and a cat.
My short story, Grace, has won 6th place in the inspirational category of the Reader's Digest 2007 short story contest.
