I believe that the most powerful tool we as human beings have are the words we use. Whether verbal or written, our words can build one another up or tear each other down. Words can cause a person to feel defeated or can inspire someone to accomplish things they never knew they were capable of doing. They are also what people remember us by. We are very adept at using words to show the negative aspects of our society. It is my hope that through these articles you will see or hear something that will help you to overcome the discouraging words that seem to be so prevalent, and go on to accomplish great things in your life! And it is also my hope that you will use that inspiration to help others in their lives.
I was born in Long Beach, California in April of 1962, and was raised in Northern California. Attending Contra Costa Community College from 1978 to 1980, I studied Law Enforcement and Public Relations. During that time I studied various methods of communication. This included everything from technical and novel writing to delivering speeches to large audiences. Through all of this, I have learned the art of communicating effectively with people.

Why stand we judging what others may do, is there something that only we know? Will our griping and growling improve someones lot, will it change them and help them to grow? Oh, why stand we judging what others may do, as if we have the time to spare? Rather than critiquing...
