About me - Truth Blazer

About me

I am a happily married man who is younger than he feels and older than he remembers. I have more hair on my butt than on my head and I often smile at the irony of life. I grew up in a stable home with both parents still together after 30+ years (a miracle in today's world). I have one older brother and my first child is on the way.

I am somewhat on the deep and serious side of life, but still laugh often.
I am passionate about God, but struggle to know and understand Him.
I get angry at the sin and deception of this world and try to battle it, even within myself.
I have learned that knowing the answer isn't always the answer and that there is much power in faith and mystery.
I have compassion for people and weep for those tangled in the web of confusion and hate.
I once despised life and sought to end it whereas now I embrace it and am anxious to see what it will bring.

The life cycle of a person can be compared to that of a nation. It is born, has growing pains and spurts, it matures, it flourishes in time, and just like a life, it ceases to exist. Every empire born in the faraway past has died or transformed so much that it is unrecognizable to the original. The eras a nation has is merely another way to acknowledge where the nation is on the timeline of its existence. This is an article I hate to write but feel compelled to.
