Mid-fifties southerner, single, a "foreigner" lost in Southern California. After surviving a family death, unwanted divorce,loss of my home, career change and the demands of an emotionally sick only child all in a 12 month period, I live again and life is good. I earn my living teaching Christian history in a college classroom, serving as an on-line information technology instructor and managing the computer networks and websites for a small college. I maintain a faith that is deeply rooted in personal experience, have been blessed with some wonderful new friends here in mid-life and look forward to what comes next. I love reading and find a beautiful masterpiece written all around me when hiking in the Sierra mountains or strolling a quiet beach. I've enjoyed writing for my own personal catharsis my whole adult life and now feel free to share it as fear is no longer an obstacle.
