Born in Australia to Welsh and Irish parents, I reside with my daughter and cat. Perhaps my ancestry has fueled my interest in Celtic traditions and culture.
With a hunger for learning, I have completed numerous studies including a diploma in Professional Freelance Journalism and documentary photography workshops.
Numerous articles have been published under varying genres including finance, health and well-being, and travel but my favorite areas of writing include; home D.I.Y, human interest, travel, holistic health, mythology and folklore and cultural history and gardening.
I have owned and actively managed a shop fitting/cabinet making business for more than ten years. Other interests and inspirations are, reading, belly dancing, gardening, photography and friends.
Past and present experiences, research, sourcing information and writing go hand-in-hand with my inquisitive and intuitive mind and investigative nature.
Enjoying travel, I openly embrace different walks of life, cultures and cuisines.
My main philosophy on life 'is not just to survive this life but to truly live this life passionately, accepting and dealing with all that it presents and make the most of every opportunity that comes your way'.
