: About Me

I just started writing again after about a 15 year hiatus. I used to write poetry.

I am owned by an umbrella cockatoo (China) and a German Shepherd Dog (Rambo). I am also owned by my hubby - or so I let him think - Don.

I work during the day as a family law paralegal, and am starting a business doing paralegal work for people who need help with filing various actions (i.e. divorce, paternity, child support, alimony, LLCs, corporations, etc) in Florida. I also run a gift shop, which is online for the most part at http://www.cherdons.com. I do alot of fundraising events - mostly for Elmira's Wildlife Sanctuary and a few individual dog rescues around the US. Rambo - who is pictured with me to the right, is a high drive shepherd. He has to have something to do all the time or he will start destroying my house! He is 15 months old (10 months in the picture). I am thinking of doing search and rescue training with him.
