Born during the Second World War in Budapest. Growing up in a war ridden country would be the topic of many future book writing. Survived abject poverty and tuberculosis during the communist invasion of Russia. As the second eldest and a girl I became the mother of my siblings when my father was jailed.
After the 1956 Hungarian Revolution against the Soviet occupation he was jailed. His misfortune encouraged me to study politics and begun reading the ideology of Marxism & Leninism at university. Later a became a nurse followed by midwifery.
Disenchanted of Communism I escaped Hungary through Bulgaria to Istanbul then migrated to Australia.
Not recognised as a midwife once more I began to read politics and sociology at Monash University.
Enlightened about the elusive nature of political power, I begun to search for my individual power to navigate through the mazes of my new country, adapted me as Her own.
I do write since a child to express my deep interest about equality, pacifism, nuclear deterrent, consumerism and stamping out of social disintegration.
Never considered myself as an author or a poet but when "grow up" I really would like to be one.
