Because I like to write, my goal is to supplement my income with a direct attack on most forms of writing, blogs,e-books, novels, screen plays, essays, technical manuals, ghost writing and any other forms that may become obvious. I live in Southern California and have a BS Degree.

As a lowly beginner I will be able to leave a long trail of achievement in my wake. We all have to start somewhere.

I like movies, sports, fishing,reading, writing (fiction and non fiction)and believe that a good sense of humor is essential to one's existence in these modern times.

Shazam is the name I picked for my handle as it is not a common name and I like enunciating it as if Captain Marvel will suddenly appear. So now you know that I am a little long in the tooth, but there is no profit in discussing it further.

After working for many large companies in technical jobs, I started my own businesses, LRC and LucidCopy. Gas vapor and fire detection consulting, service and sales were the main contributors to success. The LucidCopy part of my work is for writing. I have published a Wildfire Mitigation book on Lulu.com which describes the type of work performed. I was the president of the Southern Chapter of the Semiconductor Safety Association for six years in the late nineties. Prior to that I was a flight test engineer flying for Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank, CA.

Now it is time to work on being original and creative to
achieve the goals of writing. I think it will be both, work and fun.
