Hello. My name is Keisha. I'm 19 years old and live in southeast Georgia. I love to spend time with my husband, Adam. We are expecting our first child on February 27, 2008. We are very excited for another chance to become parents after losing our first pregancy in October 2006 at 6weeks and 6days.
We like to spend our free time doing anything we can do together. Some of my interests are reading, writing, drawing, singing, and spending time with family. I also enjoy tennis. I couldn't live without music.
I have a huge passion for animals and cannot stand to see or hear about one being mistreated. I wish there was an animal shelter in my area but there isn't. There is only a place that will put them to sleep if no one comes to adopt them in a few weeks. UGH!
Some of my articles here will be professional and some will be purely my opinion - just whatever the title calls for. Enjoy!

PROM, according to my own research and personal experience with it, occurs during pregnancy when the amniotic sac ruptures more than an hour before the onset of labor and when a woman is beyond 37 weeks gestation. This occurs in about 10% of all pregnancies. PROM stands for Premature Rupture of Membranes and is considered prolonged if it happens more than 18 hours before the onset of labor. PROM should not be confused with PPROM, which is Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes and occurs before 37 weeks gestation. I personally experienced prolonged PPROM. ...
