I'm almost 50. I've lived about 3 lifetimes in 6 states with 2 men and 4 children. I collect kids like other people collect salt and pepper shakers. I'm simultaneously crabby, opinionated, soft hearted and stoopid. I believe that the corporate mind in America is remarkably crazy. I think that common sense is a thing of the past like writing letters and the dial telephone.
I believe that Kenniwick Man is somehow connected to Quetzalcoatl and Kulkulkan. Or at least connected to the people they were connected to.
I believe that people with Downs syndrome are Mother Nature's attempt at a gentler human being.
I believe that there have been multiple civilizations on the earth in the past that have been wiped clean by natural catastrophes.
I believe that little by little we are allowing our rights to be taken away and we are sitting by letting it happen without even a whimper. I believe we will soon regret it but by then it will be too late to do anything about it without it coming to drastic measures.
And, just so that YOU know that I know, I believe that I am remarkably full of crap.

My first job ...
My first job was selling flower seeds to all the ladies who lived in the big houses on the beach on Lake Michigan. They all had gardens and loved their flowers. I doubled the price after the first pack and they never blinked. I always thought it was because I held my pinkie up when we had tea. I was about six years old at the time and full of myself.
My best moment ...
Bringing my two grandchildren out of our house when it was burning down around our ears.
My inspiration ...
My Aunt Carol. She had a hard life, but it was the life she chose and she loved it and her family. She was happy no matter what anyone else thought about it.
The first thing we need to do in order to get over our breakfast phobia is to re-define breakfast. Our culture has a preconceived notion of what foods breakfast consists of and if we don't have those foods available, we won't eat. Breakfast can be anything, ask any college student worth his salt who has eaten cold pizza for breakfast and they'll tell you. Leftovers from dinner make a great breakfast. They are already cooked, require only that you place them on a plate the night before and heat them in the microwave this morning. Viola! Breakfast! Did you have chicken for dinner? Chicken sa...
