I am so excited to have discovered a site like Helium where we can all share our thoughts, opinions, feelings, and expertise together as a community of aspiring writers! Helium is not only fun, but inspirational and educational. I welcome any feedback or pointers from any of my fellow writers.
I have been blessed with three wonderful daughters, all teenagers now and in the home stretch of childhood! They are great! My husband is an airline captain that I admire tremendously. Having four days a week away from one another can enhance any relationship.
I have been working on 2 full length books, one a novel and the other a non-fiction book on the injustice found in our "justice system". Having many life experiences, both good and bad, has given me a wellspring of writing ideas! There's always a silver lining.
Sometimes the worst things are what brings us to the best. Having cancer this year is what led me to seriously reconsider how I was spending my life. I quit my dayjob in corporate America and here I am, doing what I love!
I find strength in my spirituality and the wonderful people God has brought into my life.
Good luck to all as you walk the path to dream fulfillment!
