: About Me

Hi,
My name is Peter R. Harris. I am 37 years young and live in the United Kingdom.
I enjoy reading and writing, especially creative writing. I had my first children`s book published in 2005 and am currently working on the final instalment of a trilogy.
I also love poetry, short stories and of course, non-fiction...which is why I joined Helium - what a cool idea. I have taught children's fiction writing courses to adults at a local college - a really valuable and thoroughly enjoyable experience. I have also had various short stories and poems published in a range of magazines and anthologies etc...even winning the odd competition or two.

There`s a wealth of information on here, something for everyone. The best articles I`ve read are ones where the author has the most important requirement...experience. It`s invaluable and it really shines through in the articles  making it appealing to a range of individuals all over the world.
I hope to meet as many fellow writers as possible here and I look forward to reading your articles. Please take a peek at my stuff, too, when you have a minute. I welcome feedback - good, bad or ugly.
