Janet Meydam has been an occupational therapist for 20 years and is licensed in the state of Wisconsin. She has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient hospital, freestanding outpatient clinics, nursing homes, home health care agencies, and sheltered workshops. She was employed at these settings through contract agencies and worked at many of them simultaneously. In 2002, wanting a change of pace, she took a public school position and now works with school age children in a public school setting. Janet has been married to her wonderful husband Tim for 1 year and they have three teenage children between them. She enjoys antiques and runs a small internet antiques and collectibles business, Maple Grove Collectibles. She and Tim have also started a new business based on Tim's love of model trains, Easy Model Trains.com. Janet and Tim enjoy travel, wine tasting and wine making, cooking, and searching for antiques at local rumage sales. They spend a great deal of time managing their three children and attempting to train Tim's dog, a german wire haired pointer named Rylee.
