Ancient old guy, 80, and I have been called a curmudgeon, and at times relish the appellation.
One of my hobbies is the study of religion, and I have followed that for over 20 years now, and I have a collection of writings that are real history, written by those that were "there" at the time, and that give you a clear picture of the tactics that religion has used to claw it's way to the top of whatever heap they are on.
I look forward to the exchange of ideas that promote thinking, and I do not suffer fools gladly.

This is a delicate subject, and it will arouse ire in some of you, but the title says it all, great, or not so great, books that criticize religion. I can only quote what other men have said, "If I have seen further than others, it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants." These men were giants and no mistake. I have studied religion and where it came from for over 20 years now, and to say that I do not believe the Bible is an understatement.
