tap...tap...tap... is this thing on? Okay..."brand me", huh? Here goes. I live in the Philadelphia suburbs with my very tolerant husband and two interesting, albeit frequently surly children. I'm obsessed with the "carnival" aspect of life and fervently believe that it's never time to come home from the fair. I am expert at finding excuses to read, paint and haunt "junk shops" when I should be attending to my domestic duties. "Jack of all trades, master of none," is a phrase with genuine appeal for me. I'm a classic underacheiver with an over-inflated sense of accomplishment. Tag. You're it.

When I'm in the mood for an activity that's mindless and repetitive, stifling to my creativity and generally demeaning, I head straight for the housework. Now, don't get me wrong.
